I wasn’t sure if I was gonna attend the Sketchmeet last Saturday because the forecast was rain and possible hail. But overnight it seemed to get better so off I went tagging along hubby and daughter.

On our way to our 11 am meeting time.

Got to the Cook’s Cottage in the middle of the Fitzroy Gardens.

Rain…wind…mosquitoes…repeat… That was what we dealt with last weekend when we had our Melbourne Urban Sketchers meet. Saw some familiar faces and met new ones, over all a great experience.

What was more lovely was that I spent it with my hubby and daughter who tried their best to sketch for the very first time. Not a bad effort if I should say so myself!

After the meet, the three of us went for a short walk around while the rain has ceased in the meantime.
